Hi! My name is Fernanda and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I'm a technology consultant based in
Seattle, WA and a recent graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I received my
Bachelor of Science in Computational Media
with concentrations in Human-Computer Interaction and Film & Media studies.
I was first introduced to computer science when I participated in the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program
in 2016. This is where I fell in love with the world of web development and became inspired by one of my
mentors to pursue computing at
Georgia Tech.
My degree
in Computational Media has allowed me to develop my skills as a software engineer, experience
designer, and digital storyteller.
In any product I design, build, or manage, my top priority is putting people first and enhancing the user
experience.
With my concentration in Film & Media, I've enhanced my abilities in communicating stories through videos as
well as through writing and conversation.
I consider myself a storyteller because
I enjoy writing articles on Medium for fun, filming and editing
videos, and mentoring any new or prospective Georgia Tech students.
✨ What I study or do for work is only part of who I am. Some things I love are:
I hope you enjoy exploring my little corner on the Internet!
